Whole Orbit Option

In the case of GTRN, this option averages the geomagnetic transmission function over the entire orbit: an orbit-generator routine in CREME is used to step along the specified orbit, which is tracked for seven days. Geomagnetic access is evaluated at each point on the orbit, and the results are averaged.

Alternatively, GTRN can calculate the geomagnetic transmission function for specified orbital segments.

In the case of TRP, this option accumulates the trapped proton spectra over the entire spacecraft trajectory: an orbit-generator routine in CREME96 is used to step along the specified trajectory. The trajectory is tracked for the number of orbits you specify, with each orbit sampled at 200 locations.

Alternatively, TRP can calculate the trapped proton spectra for specified orbital segments.
